Russia Adoption Services At Children's Hope International

If you are willing and able to travel to Russia, adoption is wonderful way to bring waiting children into your family. At Children's Hope International, we have been helping Russian orphans--from infants and toddlers to sibling groups and children with special needs--find homes with families from the United States since 1996. Our agency is accredited by The Hague and the Russian Federation. Since we know how difficult it is to deal with important legal and personal matters in a foreign country like Russia, adoption specialists from our agency will be with you throughout the process. Our staff can also help with completing your post-adoption reports.

Information About the Russia Adoption Process

At Children's Hope International, we stay informed about the latest regulations on Russia adoption so that we can help you make a decision about whether this is a realistic goal for you. Couples who are interested in infant adoption need to be married for at least one year and must be willing to accept referrals for Russian orphans who are up to at least 18 months old. Parents who are older than 45 can still adopt Russian orphans, but must be open to accepting referrals for children who are older than 18 months.

In addition to completing the paperwork for Russia adoption requirements, you will also need to make two trips to Russia as part of the adoption process. While you are in Russia, our staff can assist you with you travel arrangements and translation needs.
