Pretty Lila is 7 years old.She has received surgery for malformed right hand and has no other health issues. Here's what her aunties report:
"In September of 2011, Lila began to receive preschool education in ordinary elementary school near the institute. She has Chinese, math, music and art classes. She was very happy and would go to the school with other children happily. Since she has deformity of the right hand, she can only write with the left hand. But this has not beaten her. Other children can write after several times of practice. For her, it would be dozens of times. Sometimes, she would say to the teacher “my hand hurts.” She still insists finishing the homework. Her spirit moved every teacher who teaches her. She is a child who is so persevering. Everyone loves this girl who has a ready smile and fair skin."
NOTE - In Chinese schools, children do not write "lefty" no matter what.

Our Fritzy-boy is not quite three. He was diagnosed as brain dysplasia on right side. Here's the update from his Aunties:
"We carried out excellent care for him, configured special nutritious meals for him, and planned scientific rehabilitation program. By the massage for two hours daily and electrotherapy etc., he recovered soon. Muscular tension of left upper and lower limbs has been improved. He is still performing the rehabilitation and is very cooperative when training. He has a pair of black and large eyes, fair complexion, round face like apple and is very handsome; he is outgoing, likes sports, can sit alone, stand alone and walk alone, but his coordinate ability of left lower limb is poor, and he is not steady when he walks alone; he likes to walk with hand held by the aunt. He is a clever child, can understand simple instructions; when the aunt say “down to sleep please”, he can do quickly, while looking the aunt with smiles; he is very obedient; when the aunt says other child’s name, he would point to the right child with his fingers; when the aunt praised him, he would respond to the aunt with smiles, a little shy. He has good appetite, not choosy to food, likes to eat noodles with vegetable and pork, can eat one or two baby bowls of noodles."

TIMMY
Timmy just turned six this April. His shyness held him back until he was paced in a foster family. Here's what those who know him have to say:
"He’s a cute and handsome boy, he’s been fostered in a family since December. He changed from being shy to being active through the care of the foster family. After Chinese New Year he started going to kindergarten and likes it. There are many children the same age as him and he gets along well with them and has made many friends. He plays games with them. He doesn’t like to take naps, he is always thinking of fun and exciting activities like the playground. When the teacher comes to tell him to be quiet & sleep, he will close his eyes but he’s just pretending. The first day of kindergarten, he saw many new things, so he couldn’t sleep.
"Recently, Timmy has made big progress. In the past he only talked with the nannies, but now he will talk with anyone, like a little man. He follows his grandmother all day, he doesn’t like to just sit still. The most interesting thing is that he knows what his grandmother will do next. When he sees his grandmother wants to sit down, he will take a stool to her at once. He makes his grandmother very happy. He is very polite and thoughtful."

HENRY
Henry is is a brave, loving and loyal young man with great potential. He is only six years old and is hoping for a family of his own. Here's Henry's personal report:
"Henry attends kindergarten at his orphanage, physical development slightly delayed, very clever, speaks very colloquial Chinese. When grandmother jokes with him saying she doesn’t want him, he responds that he 'will find her & knows her phone number & knows where she lives & can call the police & the orphanage director to tell him that she doesn’t want to keep the child.' When the grandmother doesn’t respond, he changes his response: 'Grandma, you are lovely, don’t be angry.'
"His physical ability is good. He can climb, somersault, looks like a healthy (non sp needs) child, has good studying ability, can count to 20, can add & subtract, knows pinyin, can spell, can read simple words. Can follow instructions, always tidies his desk and chair before leaving school, very obedient. Gets dressed quickly in the morning (first or second one finished), gets along well with other children, very talkative with friends, communicates well with teachers, when something isn’t fair he is good at knowing what’s right.
"Health is a little weak, frequently gets tonsillitis, but is very brave. When nurses & nannies give him IV medicine, he says “Henry is lovely, Henry doesn’t cry!” Only his facial expression changes when the needle is injected, but he doesn’t make a sound, he’s a very sensible child. He is very cooperative during treatment, his eyesight isn’t good. He’s very careful when going up and down stairs. He’s protective of himself. When his eye is uncomfortable, he tells his grandmother so they can see the doctor. He makes promises to his grandmother that when he gets a new mom & dad he will study well so he can take care of his grandmother in the future. His grandmother is very touched when he says this. The grandmother really hopes that a very kind family will adopt him so his love can be complete and so his life can be full of happiness."
