Alliance of Hope
The Alliance of Hope is a collaboration partnership based on need, trust and agreement among select adoption agencies committed to the highest ethical and moral principles in finding homes for children without families. This informal coalition allows agencies to serve those families who want to adopt from a country where the agency does not have a direct program.
Most all international adoptions require the family to work with two or more agencies; one agency conducts the home study and qualifies a family according the guidelines required by immigration services, and the specific country. The second agency is the child placing agency that interacts directly with the international country to identify and place a child with a qualified family. Both agencies work together with a family to facilitate the various parts and stages of an international adoption. The successful granting of Hague Accreditation has enabled Children’s Hope International and others to partner with other excellent agencies in the United States to offer our families new international adoption opportunities.
Families can choose any of the programs offered by one of the partner agencies and the agency can still serve the family with social services of home-studies and post-placement reports as well as dossier preparation. Through collaborative agreements with our partners, you can adopt from virtually any country in the world that is served by one of our Alliance Partners.
Direct Programs
Children's Hope has direct programs and full approval to work in China, Russia, Ethiopia and Colombia. When you apply to adopt in those countries CHI will work with you to do your home study or make a recommendation, all paperwork preparation and and international representation and travel.
Partner Programs
In Bulgaria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Haiti and India you will apply to Children's Hope and be fully guided in completing or coordinating your home study, CIS approval and all your dossier (paperwork) preparation. When all this is completed CHI will send your dossier to our alliance partner for the international aspects of your adoption and travel. CHI will be available to you during and after this time for any post-adoption requirements and needs you may have.
What Does This Alliance Mean To You?
-
It means you will have the advantage of working with Children's Hope to guide you through all requirements for your home study and your own personal CHI adoption consultant to guide you through the required paperwork and CIS requirements.
-
When your paperwork (dossier) is completed, Children's Hope will send your dossier to our Alliance Partner to be submitted to the country you have chosen in countries where we do not have direct programs. They will be there for you regarding all international processing and adoption completion.
-
Children's Hope will be available at all time and after your return home for any questions or post-placement requirements.
IN REVIEW:
Our agency has direct programs to place children from Ethiopia, Russia, China and Colombia, and is cooperating with our Alliance of Hope partners in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Haiti, India and Ukraine. By working together in cooperation with our Alliance of Hope Partners we will be able to place children needing permanency and loving homes from a larger number of countries. Our agreement with our partner agencies will not impact how we interact with you. You can apply to Children's Hope, and our staff will guide you through the process, just as with any country program. This partnership allows our agency working with our partners to provide homes to children in a way that benefits both the children needing homes and the adoptive families. All adoptions will be completed under Hague standards and authority.
