Reimbursable Post Placement Deposit – (Check # 7) All families are required to send CHI $800 with their final fees for a post adoption deposit. Post adoption reports are due in Russia at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years after the court date. After the post adoption reports are completed and submitted to Russia on time, families will receive this deposit back after the last post placement is completed.
* Families who complete their home study through CHI are exempt from this deposit.
