Adopting from Russia in 2010 - Wait Time Going Down
Our Russia Program is strong, dependable and offers you amazing staff here in the US and also in Russia, as our translaters, drivers and coordinators guide you through your travel. Our program is long-standing and respected, ensuring you an ethical adoption of a child desperately in need of a forever home.
We have seen great successes in 2009. Forty-one Russia children were adopted by Children's Hope parents during the first 6 months of 2009! During July, seven more children found homes.

Children's Hope needs more families for Russia's children in need of loving permanent homes. Our wait times are currently growing shorter. A number of families have received a referral of a child within 5 months of completing their basic registation documents; from start to finish, completing their adoption within a year. Overall, the average wait in 2009 was 7-12 months*.
In the first six months in 2009 we found homes for:
- 15 Girls
- 26 Boys
- 6 Sibling Groups
- 15 children under 24 months old
- 26 children 25-36 months old
- 8 children 37-48 months old
- 7 children 4 years and older
