Adoption Guide

Kazakhstan Adoption

Children’s Hope International is able to provide you with an opportunity to adopt from Kazakhstan through our Alliance Partnership with an excellent agency who opened their Kazakhstan program in 1999 and was one of the first agencies to complete an adoption in Kazakhstan. Working with them we are able to provide you a professional adoption team for your homestudy, paperwork preparation and on to completion of your adoption and travels.  Children are available for adoption starting at ages 9 months to age to 15 years. The infants live in maternity hospitals where they have remained since birth for three months and then are moved to the orphanages at 3 months of age.

Meet the children...

Kazakhstan BabyThe ethnic background of most of the children available is Asian-Kazakh, however, occasionally Russian Caucasian, German, Korean, Tatar and Gypsy and mixed ethnicity children are available. The children must stay on a national database for 6 months. After this period of time, these children will be available for international adoption. Sibling groups are sometimes available, but rare. The children are generally healthy. Typical orphanage delays with children are expected, however, with infants the delays are much less since the babies are so young and have not faced long periods being institutionalized. Two children would only be available for adoption if they are a sibling group. The adoption of two non-related children is not allowed.
