Who are the "Immediately Available Waiting Children"?

Waiting Children – Special Children with Needs – Older Children

Children’s Hope has a constantly expanding and changing gallery of children with special needs or older who are immediately available for adoption.

In every country where Children's Hope goes, there are untold numbers of children waiting, often languishing for lack of love. They need homes. There are children of all ages. Most have medical needs. Some are older and healthy.Their cries are heard only by God - if we listen with our hearts, we can hear them, too.

Here’s How You can Become a Family for a Waiting Child:

  1. An Adoption Consultant will contact you with the paperwork you need to do.
  2. Complete the paperwork and select the child of your heart.

You must have an approved application or have previously adopted through CHI before you can get access to the Wonderful Waiting Children.

(Have you seen our Future Stars? We have special permission to share a set of children's information on our main web - just enter your name and email for privacy reasons. Additional children wait for families on our password protected site.)

First preference is given to potential families who have already completed their dossier (adoption paperwork). The reason is simple: if you select a child today without a dossier, both you and the child would need to wait for the paperwork to be completed. Families with their dossier ready may select those children who are available today. Your selection can come as soon as your initial paperwork is finished.

Information is available on these children from the beginning. If you should decide to adopt one of the children whose information is listed you can continue the adoption process knowing your child is 'waiting' for you and you will be able to go get him or her as soon as arrangements can be made.
