Children’s Hope found that although the CHI main/China and CHI Russia Yahoo! groups are informative and supportive, the Children’s’ Hope China and Russia families yearned to create a bond with other Children’s Hope families in a more intimate setting. In addition to the ability to post messages on the Children’s Hope Yahoo! group members can post pictures, informative files or web links, create polls and databases. The moderator creates many databases to assist Children’s Hope families keep track of each family’s adoption progress, historical referral information, etc.
