What a blessing it is to come to work every day and truly enjoy what I do! While living in Mexico during college, I worked in an orphanage, tutoring older children in English who were in the process of being adopted by American families. Through this experience, I dreamed of a job that would make an impact and help the orphans of the world. After graduating from Baker University with a degree in Spanish, I pursued a Masters degree in Social Work at Washburn University in attempt of finding a career in international adoption. I have been at Children’s Hope since 2004, first as a graduate intern, then as a social worker, and now as the Director of the Kansas City area office. I have truly enjoyed these years at Children’s Hope and look forward to assisting the Central Midwest families through the rewarding journey of adoption..
