The fee for an apostille or authentication is $2.00 per document
The County Clerk must certify the notary public's signature before the document can be apostilled or authenticated
Documents are taken to the State of Tennessee Department of State, Division of Business Services, NTS Unit, 312 Eighth Avenue North, 6th Floor, William R. Snodgrass Tower, Nashville, Tennessee 37243. Requests for apostilles and authentications of documents can also be mailed to the Secretary of State to the above address.
