Adoption Guide

Have you considered international adoption?

In every city and town, up and down every street are couples and singles, living in agonizing disappointment of not being able to have children. In many cases they have exhausted their funds and hopes for the bright dreams they had. At the same time, in tens of thousands of locations, infants and children who have no parents are sheltered together from the cold in homes of social welfare. Kazakhstan ChildBut not sheltered from the longing to have someone hold them, love them and be a mother / father to them. Their hurt is intense - and it never goes away. Until one day someone arrives at the door with outstretched arms and large caring hearts. The same someone who had agonized in their own personal disappointments earlier. At this glad moment, heaven seems to have come down to touch earth. And it doesn't end that day! A forever family is formed and on the previously hopeless ground, God has breathed the breath of life and families join together in celebration

Tens of thousands of children and their adoptive parents can and do attest to this glorious reality. They want to tell others. They want to put these paragraphs in your hands and say, Why don't you consider international adoption? We did and are glad beyond any words to describe it"

Children's Hope International adoption agency is just that - hope for children - through those that hope for them. These words find their way into your eyes - and perhaps your heart - because of their intense desire to see it happen for others. "Could I really love an adopted child as much as a child born to me?", you say? Adoptive parents who are also biological parents, urge me to tell you they can't tell the difference! A husband can love his wife deeply and intensely even though they are not biologically related! Senator John McCain says, "I have four children. Two are biological and two are adopted, but I can't remember which."

"Can I love a child of another as much as one of my own race?", others may say. Perhaps you would like to ask that question of hundreds of parents who have adopted children from Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. We have their addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail - and they are eager to talk to you. Really! Russia ChildYou will be surprised - and in awesome admiration. Their love may be greater - but certainly no less. Every year International adoption also includes thousands of children of same race. You may say, "I have heard of adopted children who don't bond with their parents". So have I. But I've known only a few cases personally and I see hundreds adopted every year! Biological children also may not attach in every case either.

"What about health problems?" you may question. And why don't you - why don't you just contact any of the hundreds we have made available to you to ask - by e-mail or phone. I think you will be surprised by the shining positive answers.

Are you afraid that some legal problem would develop to deprive you of the child you adopt internationally. To my knowledge it just has never happened. This becomes, instead one of the reasons that many decide to adopt internationally. "Why not a domestic adoption?", you may inquire. We are 100% for domestic adoptions and we support the hundreds of good public and private agencies that are already doing that work so well. But not so many are advocating for those children lonely and waiting faraway. For them we are saying, Will you consider International adoption?
